President of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology
Professor Suhe Meng, President of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, graduated from Tianjin University of Science and Technology. She is also the Proprietor of CIFST’s journal, a member of China’s Standing Committee on National Light Industry Council, a consultant for the National Development and Reform Commission’s Department of Industry and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Department of Consumer Goods Industry. She is also Deputy Director of the Standardization Administration of China’s National Technical Committee on Foods for Special Dietary Uses, a member of the Food Safety Expert Committee of the State Council, a member of the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Expert Committee and a member of the China Expert Committee for Imported and Exported Food Safety. She has extensive experience in the study and administration of food science and technology.
